Decades of experience
After I completed my Juris Doctorate degree at Duquesne University School of Law in 2000, I began practicing law professionally with the Public Defender’s Office in Tampa, FL. I worked in this office for seven years handling cases for felony offenses that include homicide and sex offenses. My trial experience goes beyond trying felony and misdemeanor cases and includes negotiating amicable resolutions outside of court.
My legal background also includes having worked in the special investigations unit (SIU) for a major insurance company. I spent my time investigating fraudulent claims that included fake car accidents, provider fraud, and bogus homeowners’ claims. While I was able to use my skills in criminal law for this job, I came to realize that criminal defense was my passion.
